Anything Good Can Happen to Anybody
Jerry Boyd is a forty-seven-year-old widower who lives in New York. He owns a duplex apartment building on the west side of town. He works two jobs and is the father of two young adults who are heading to college. Jerry works as a janitor at the local school, and he is the owner and manager of his duplex on his second job. Jerry has his hands full with many tasks so much so that it left him little time for himself. But Jerry finds himself in a bit of a mess after he took a walk down town one day. Layla is a very attractive ex-swimsuit model who is dating a renowned photographer, Scott. Layla is really in love with Scott, and she wants to settle down and start a family, but Scott is driven by his career, and he gives little thought to having a family, which puts a strain on his and Layla's relationship. But Layla has not given up and she soon starts to fantasize about how she would look with a bun in the oven. Layla is willing to do almost anything to get what she wants, and she will stop at nothing to see the pitter patter of little feet running around their luxurious apartment. Jerry and Layla are living two different lifestyles which are not giving them their desired outcomes, but if it weren't for bad luck they would have not any luck at all. But Anything Good Can Happen to Anybody.
