Code 7 MBPD
Code Seven is about the author’s career as a police officer. He was lucky to have been involved in the Charles Manson case and the OJ Simpson pursuit. He was involved in the biggest drug case in SoCal back in 1971 (twenty-five kilos of marijuana), which was before The French Connection movie that came out around 1975 or so. A guinea pig saved his career around 1990. The city manager overruled the Chief of Police in a thirty-day suspension versus the author, where he wound up playing softball and got paid time and a half too. He tells some of these stories all the time when someone suggested to write a book about it. So here it is.
