A Dog for John

John gets his first dog this summer. John and his dog, Willie, go on adventures with his family while he learns to take care of his new dog.The story depicts a young boy getting his first dog. It tells of the important lessons he learns about caring for his dog; it can be used as a training manual to help teach children to raise a dog.
