A Life of Service
Duty. Honor. Loyalty.
Guy V. Molinari’s name is synonymous with Staten Island. Serving as a State assemblyman, a congressman, and the borough president of Staten Island, Guy V. Molinari was pivotal in bringing attention to the Forgotten Borough when it was needed most.
After serving honorably in the Korean War as a Marine, he went on to fight to ensure safe air travel, to address toxic environmental issues, and to spread democracy globally. He was instrumental in the election of many public officials including President George H. W. Bush, and Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.
Despite years of maltreatment, Molinari restored dignity to his borough by closing the Fresh Kill’s Landfill, better known as The Staten Island Dump.
Guy V. Molinari has been an influential figure in politics for over forty years and throughout that time he has never been afraid to do what others refuse to do. These are the memoirs of this great man.
