A Second Dance
An attractive, disconsolate widow, living in Paris, unexpectedly reconnects with her first boss after twenty-five years. He was a Golden Boy from a privileged, wealthy background, a rising star in the diplomatic world, and happily married to a Golden Girl.
To Louise's chagrin, he does not acknowledge their previous relationship but treats her as a social equal and asks her to help him endure a family wedding ordeal.
Louise, desperate to shed her mournful depression and desirous of visiting her native land, agrees.
Will he remember their mutual history, or not? And, does it matter?
