This book is about living the life of a free young spirit growing into adulthood with many challenges in life. She had to learn to deal with the good and the bad that came her way. One of the main challenges in her life was mastering daily living with dual disabilities. She had tremendous faith and strength. She faced her disabilities head on with help from the mental health community, who provided the medication and counseling that she continuous to utilize today. She also had good friends and supportive family.
This book is very powerful! And yes it is the TRUTH! If it feels as if you have been ignored or felt like an outcast in life and at the same time felt love& then you will know where she is coming from. Many people cared about her and encouraged her. This book will touch and warm your heart and soul. It will make you think about how you treat yourself and others. If you meet a person with a disability don t be judgmental, just accept that person with a caring attitude. People with disabilities are just like people who appear able bodied of sound and mind (in the independent living movement we refer to these people as TABS temporary able bodied). WE ARE ALL CREATED EQUAL! But anytime our lives can change just sit back and enjoy! The truth through a BRAINSTORM!
