Chocolate Chunk and Lollipop
Life was normal until two kidnapped girls entered her world.
Ten-year-old Cookie is having a hard time transitioning to her new neighborhood. On the first day of school, she meets a new friend, Candy, and the future starts to look brighter for her. Now Cookie can take her mind off the friends she left behind.
But Cookie has other things on her mind now. Cookie keeps getting strange feelings whenever she is walking through the park, and pictures of a little girl that’s in trouble keep flashing through her mind! A little girl with tape on her mouth! With big scared eyes! Kidnapped!
Cookie finally figures out who that little girl is and, more importantly, where she is. But no one will believe her! Not her parents! Not the police! Should she go in to rescue the little girl herself? Should she tell her friends about it and ask for their help? But going in to rescue the little girl would mean putting herself, and her friends, in more danger!
And then, as if that wasn’t enough for a ten-year-old to handle, while investigating the situation for the little girl, Cookie discovers some new information. Information that might prove that one of her friends was also kidnapped as an infant. How do you tell your dear friend that she may have been kidnapped when she has a wonderful, happy family?
Will Cookie ever have a normal childhood again?
