Creature of the Dark Woods

Carle Flores who was a lover of nature took frequent walks into the woods near her village. On one such venture she encountered a hideous monster. After dashing from the woods and crashing through her door, she would not go outside her house and was afraid of her own shadow. She was sent by her parents to relatives in the city to keep her safe, but Carle's fate was already sealed. Months later Carle returned to the village to take part in their annual festival. On the day of the Annual Festival Carle was snatched by the creature from the Dark Woods and vanished into thin air.

Meanwhile far away in the Kingdom of the Tall Pines Prince Damon and some of his most trusted warriors set up camp close to the Dark Woods. They were propelled and trapped into the Dark Woods by unseen forces. Each breath they took was a fight for survival. The Prince and his men were unseated from their horses when they were tossed into the woods by hurricane force- winds, but the Prince's powerful horse Wolfgang found them and they knew they had a better chance of survival.
