Darkness Reborn

In the sleepy town of Dry Creek, known as the "Gorge," an ancient and threatening darkness has awakened and is on the verge of escaping from its long imprisonment. Thomas, a young master instructed in the ways of "the White," discovers an ominous black cube that only appears in the moonlight. With time ticking away, he must race across the vast landscape of the plains in hopes of solving the mystery of the strange structure before it's too late. His quest to save his world from the growing evil will lead him on a perilous journey to find his long-lost childhood friend, Sebastian, who disappeared after running away on the cusp of stepping into the ranks of the brethren.

Sebastian, a child who never knew the warmth of a mother and father, is discarded like refuse into a trash pit somewhere in the Poverty District of Windshire. In a strange twist of fate, he survives after being taken in by a kindhearted canine, who raises him as her own pup. His canine mother is brutally slain while Sebastian watches in horror. Alone once more, he is taken in by the Sanctuary orphanage, where he forms a bond with Minh, a High Master of the Sanctuary, and Thomas, his one true childhood friend. Years later, on the brink of adulthood, he witnesses an evil injustice in the city that haunts him for the rest of his life. This horrific event, coupled with the murder of his adoptive mother, fuels his determination to build an army.

After running away in shame from the Sanctuary and his friend Thomas, Sebastian falls literally into the small and strange village of Knot, where he finds love and a sense of belonging for the first time. Aurora is everything that the young Sebastian has been missing, and with her help, the wounds carried for so long begin to heal.

Now, years later, with his army ready, Sebastian is poised to exact vengeance on the evil city that took his mother's life. As the time nears to implement his long-laid plans, fate intervenes with the arrival of his long-lost childhood friend, Thomas. The two friends, now on divergent paths, clash as destiny pulls Sebastian away from his plans and toward a higher purpose. Only time will reveal if the two can find common ground to work together to save the world�but time is a luxury they can ill afford.
