Farm Life By A Farmwife

Patty Hooper, a farmwife, has participated in many agriculture activities. Patty and her husband, as young adults just out of college, decided to fulfill their intentionof owning a family farm.In 1968 they were able to put a down payment on a farm and secure a bank loan. With visions of possibilities a new beginning for a farm couple was under way.With all of their dreams and a whole lot of young ignorance they started a family farm adventure. Many typical farm activities have taken place in order to achieve success.The accomplishment, joy and misfortune that happens as part of a normal farm routine is told as many "inside" stories unfold.
