Glory Amelia Rose

Glory Amelia Rose is an energetic 8-year-old girl who loves life and can be easily distracted. She loves to make friends with everyone she meets. She also has many favorite things in life.

One of her favorite things is spending time with her grandmother whom she calls Granny. Granny and Glory share the same name as well as many favorite activities. Glory loves visiting her Granny because Granny always reads to her or tells her a story.

One special day, the story happens to be about a soldier and his uniform. Glory is uncertain she will like this story her Granny has chosen for their visit. She soon finds out the story is more interesting than she thought and enjoys hearing her "favorite" Granny tell the story. Glory and Granny learn about each part of the soldier’s uniform and see why each piece is needed. Glory learns that being a soldier in God’s army is harder than she thought. She also learns a few spelling lessons along the way. Even though she learns something new, she is excited because she spends time with her "one and only" Granny.
