Gray's TV Season 1
Gray's TV: Well it was the strangest thing. I was driving past Area 51, you know that place in Nevada where they have all the space alien reports. Well, I meet one, he looked just like Phil Silvers. The Old Sgt. Bilko on TV. He said I was going to die in just a few minutes when a tire comes off an eighteen wheeler truck and causes me to swerve into the desert, I crash and my dog Cody and I both die.
He offers me a chance to be a star in a 'TV SHOW' on his home planet. A show of life on Earth where situations are changed due to my intervention. He assures me this in no way will change the real history on Earth. No lives would be altered in any way. It was only a show that 'THEY' would enjoy, a fantasy with no more effect than a rerun of "I love Lucy", "The Days of Our Lives" or "Survivor."
While the participants would live their lives cloaked in the natural feeling of a real life, it was not. They would resort to being recycled in the natural DNA pool when it was their time. I didn't understand this but Phil assured me it was in the hands of God. Even he didn't understand this but assured me that God whether on Melmac or one of Earth's many religions, God was constant with only different interpretations by mankind.
Phil offered me a life of one adventure after another. The offer seemed so much more attractive than death in a Nevada desert. I accepted and looked forward to living the dream of everlasting life and adventure. My best friend Cody (a 115 lb Black Lab) would accompany me.
