Kitchen Help

Alowenda Zastas was the premier chef in the city of Stirling. A week earlier, her brother was found murdered in the alley next to the kitchen of my tavern, the Plucked Goose. Alowenda was a freed woman, but her brother was a slave, and she wanted the killer caught and punished. Her voice was soft but hard when she spoke.

"The City Watch doesn't care about the death of a mere slave. My Salon was no angel, but he didn't deserve to be mutilated. Find proof of who did this deed, and I will come work here. That's my offer for your service. You have two weeks till the moons are again full."
