Mama's Diary

After being a loner throughout her school career, Charlene graduated from high school and returned home to help her mother run a small oneâ€"crop farm.

At night when there was time and before sleep came to her she would keep a diary. She would write about boys and girls in love, sitting in the grass or on the benches holding hands and kissing.

This diary would lead her to her first taste of loneliness. She began to yearn, to dream about meeting a man.

Her mother, seeing her like this, decided to play cupid….
