My Journey through Alzheimer's as Seen through My Husband's Eyes
Early-onset Alzheimer's disease is an ugly disease; Patricia Huff was fifty-five when she was diagnosed with the disease. She and her husband, Jim, were unprepared for such a devastating diagnosis. The doctor, after breaking the news, only encouraged them to live as normally as possible for as long as they could. At that time there was no information given as to what to expect, how to fight the disease, or how to plan for the future. We were in uncharted territory, as anyone is who is faced with a similar diagnosis. This is our story of the years that followed.
