P
P offers an allegorical look at poverty in America. As a young mother, Positively has five children and a health condition. She craves for a better life for herself and her children free from the appalling conditions of American poverty. As the castoffs of society, Positively and her children are drafted to the 51st State of America called No Where. They must remain in this State until the government amends their anti-poverty law, and Positive s American citizenship is restored. In No Where, she discovers the different causes of poverty besides her own struggle of being educated and a single mother who can t provide for her family. She meets Escape and Ms. Sorrow, who share their stories and hopes for freedom. In the end, Positively must decide if the draft of her family is the end of her dreams or if she should continue to appeal to the American government.
