Rascal The Dog No One Wanted

I must say that I am not comfortable in this role as some kind of what you humans call "advocate" for the unwanted. For too often, those pleas of humans describing the plight of us unloved and often abused animals fall on deaf ears. As a dog myself, I think I can better articulate what we unwanted dogs and cats go through before finding a "forever home." That is the reason I wrote this book with a little help from my rescuer--a guy named Mark. No human can fully describe the physical and emotional pain my fellow animals go through every single day when we have no place to live, no one to feed us, no one to give the most basic needs to survive, and certainly no one to supply any degree of compassion--let alone love.

I want this book to help you see things from my eyes. I had a pretty miserable life that made me bitter and hateful. I was able to turn my life around with just a little help from some pretty wonderful people. I know there are a lot more of you loving humans out there. My hope is that this book will move you to support your local animal rescue shelter either financially or, even better, by providing that forever home we can only dream about. Bless all of us!
