Remembering Yesterday
I wanted to write a series of books-perhaps six or eight-and dedicate each one to a special group. One of these groups is middle school kids, ages eleven to fourteen. I wanted to share how I grew up during that time, recognizing that while my childhood was quite different from today's, we might be more alike than we think. My goal wasn't to be "preachy" or suggest that my views are the only way to see things. Instead, I hope readers will take my thoughts, reflect on them, and consider how we might have more in common than we realize. Sometimes, when we don't fully understand one another, it can lead to unnecessary problems.
