Rotten at the Core

Rotten at the Core should be considered a fictional account: a story that revolves around a character by the name of Paul Cross, a parolee who has recently returned home from prison with a sincere intent on changing his life for the better. Being an ex-street hustler--pimp, robber, and drug dealer--it wasn't long before temptation lured him back into the life of crime, an environment to which he was accustomed.

While attempting to move on with his new life after having lost his one true love, Charmaine, Paul meets an attractive young southern belle by the name of Jezebel. Quickly, the two fall head over heels in love with one another. Soon after, Paul learns that Jezebel is a professional prostitute who is also a fugitive on the run from authorities down south in Mississippi. Lastly, Paul discovers that Jezebel has a very expensive drug habit that requires $1,000 per day to satisfy.

A horrible crime was allegedly committed...Paul and Jezebel are both arrested...a correctional officer is charged with raping Jezebel...a multimillion-dollar lawsuit is filed in federal court...a child is born...another child passes away...two jury trials take place; one results in a favorable outcome while the other ends with a guilty verdict--salvation is ultimately found.
