Being different is never easy. The word freak can easily attach itself to you, either said by others or in the recesses of your own thoughts. In Alli’s case, she was more than a little different, a freak from any viewpoint. Alliandra possessed abilities that went far beyond normal, and she had struggled to keep them hidden for as long as she could remember.
