The Domestic Guantanamo
The Domestic Guantanamo is the second in a series about America from veteran author Dick Fox. Following The Domestic Vietnam release, 2015, Fox follows-up with a review and outlook for Americas relationship with Cuba. The books by-line is America 2014 2024. This Gitmo book is a huge piece of American history reviewed, then lending predictable speculation from the present into the future. Next in this series, is planned to be The Domestic Panama, a 2017 release. The Domestic Guantanamo will take a reader through Cuban / American similarities, affairs and missed opportunity, into a grand potential that has always existed but never pursued. Two Vietnam Marine Corps veterans with CIA ties and operations for decades accept the assignment to enter the Cuban interior and work for 2 years rallying the rural population to liberation in a 3rd year. Working with the two Marines are hundreds of discharged special operations military, who could no longer tolerate the political correctness of the modern U.S. military. Successfully liberated, Cuba becomes a 51st State; the past Naval Base and prison (Gitmo) is reconstructed to be the new Capitol. April 1, 2024 is the home season opener for the Havana Canes, of Major League Baseball, attended by President Rubio, Governor Cruz, and the builder of the stadium and Capitol, Donald Trump, and the liberating heroes from Oregon. As usual, Heather steals the opening day show with her National Anthem.Center to the entire Cuban effort is Heather, from the central coast of Oregon, a High Seas cruise- line lounge singer and matriarch figure-head to the two Nam Vets. Heather is the undercover communications and operations coordinator, continually coaxing all parts of the liberation to successful conclusions. This is the story that should be. Politically revealing! As usual with Fox, written with intrigue and humor.-- Dick Fox
