Things Have Changed for Me
How would you react to the discovery that your only living blood relative was the perpetrator of a heinous crime? That is the dilemma Mary Carol finds herself in when she stumbles upon the fact that her bother is responsible for the abduction of a twelve-year-old named Lance. As she attempts to help the boy, Mary Carol forms an intense bond with him. Meanwhile, Lance’s parent struggle to cope with the loss of their son, along with the notoriety and suspicion that accompany being the parents of a missing child.
Years later, Lance returns to his family as a young man. As he and his parents try to mend their broken family, Mary Carol faces a potential prison sentence. Emotions rise as Lance’s parents adjust to the return of their son who is now a stranger and Lance is forced to choose between the family he lost and the family he found.
