Up Close and Paterson

Skip Van Rensalier has once again given expression to the heart and soul of his hometown, Paterson, through the in-depth and personal stories of those who were born and raised, worked, lived, educated or raised their own families in Jersey's "silk city."

In this volume, Skip has also included the stories of young high school students who are the future of Paterson as they foster their own destinies.

The book concludes with a segment entitled "Silk City Icons of Color" by Shelton J. Prescott spotlighting African American trailblazers who forged their own paths while leaving an intangible impact of their own on the third largest city in the state of New Jersey, Paterson!
