Urban Rhapsody

Urban Rhapsody is a collection of new intergenerational African American fiction inspired by Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On composition. Like music, the stories are weaved together in rousing, soulful, and thought-provoking psalms. Characters are fused with chords that sing familiar and new. Whether it’s the inspirational plight of a young single father or the tale of a teenage girl accused of parricide, each story moves to a rhythm that is infectious and compelling.
