Vanishing Angle
Ali Summer has successfully managed to escape her former life as a singer in a popular band for the anonymity of a life at sea, or so she thought. Plagued for years by an unidentified stalker, her job now as an officer on a cruise ship had so far proved to be inconspicuous enough to hide her identity and keep her out of harm’s way.
Assigned to a new ship, she looks forward to working with some of her closest friends again and Captain Carlos Passaro- somewhat of an icon himself within the company. Despite her hard and fast rule of not getting involved with anyone on the ships, she soon finds herself falling for the handsome, yet modest Italian captain.
Her blossoming relationship with Carlos finds Ali happier than she has been in years. Unfortunately, that happiness is short-lived when she starts receiving cryptic messages that seem to indicate her stalker has found her again.
A myriad of tragedies and challenges happening on board the ship test her new relationship with Carlos, and the appearance of Ali’s twin sister Elle only serves to complicate things. There for her destination wedding, Elle has brought along their parents, whom Ali has been estranged from for years. Thrown together again, secrets from the past and long-held resentments begin unveiling themselves, secrets that could hold the key to who Ali’s stalker is and the accidents happening on the ship.
As the crew band together to protect Ali and do their own investigating, several potential suspects emerge, including some within their innermost circle.
Things draw to a close with a dramatic confrontation on deck and what seems to be an uncertain future for Ali and Carlos.
