Debra Winegarten, co-author with Dr. Zvi Yaniv of his scientific memoir, My Life on the Mysterious Island of Nanotechnology: an adventure through time and very tiny spaces, accepts the first place biography/memoir award from the Press Women of Texas, at their annual statewide conference in Waco, Texas in June 23, 2018.

The book advanced to the national competition, where it placed third in the National Association of Press Women’s 2018 competition. That prize will be awarded at the NAPW’s annual conference in September in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
