Congratulations to Dick Stewart

Jan 3, 2017 | News

Congrats to Dick Stewart (author of A Time of Innocence: A Generation of Unrestricted Freedom; Strict Discipline; Keeping up with the Joneses; Socially Accepted Discrimination; Death-Defying Forest Fires; Extreme Fraternity Hazing; and the Birth of Rock-and-Roll) for being inducted into the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame!

While countless books and articles are available on pioneers like Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, and Little Richard, not much has been disclosed concerning “the unsung heroes of early rock and roll.” Dick Stewart has been active in the music biz for nearly as long as rock and roll has been alive. Lead guitarist for the instrumental rock combo, The Knights, label owner of Lance Records and Casanova Records (Mexican American), and publisher and editor of The Lance Monthly are just some of the achievements you’ll find listed on Dick’s resume.

Congratulations Dick!
